Loving My Heavenly Father

First of all, God is so good and an awesome God at the same time. Do you believe in miracles because I do. I believe that Jesus can heal the blind. I believe the he rose from the dead and He's alive in heaven preparing a place for us for whenever he returns to bring us home. I am a Christian and I'm really blessed to have Christian friends who always point me to Christ whenever I'm having a bad day or if I didn't do so well on a quiz I just took. We all need Christ each day that we're living and if you disagree with me about not needing Christ I will definitely be praying for you because not needing Christ means eternal life in hell and that's a place where I don't want people to end up being there just because of their mistakes. My word of the year would be outgoing because most people would consider me as a shy person especially in high school. I didn't like to talk to people that I didn't know and if a stranger wanted to start a conversation with me, I would just let that person talk while I listened. Outgoing means not caring what others have to say about you but just doing things that makes you comfortable and happy. To tell you the truth I have really mastered that because when I started college I made so many friends that I didn't know in high school because I talked more often and associated with people that I didn't even know. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas you guys. This blog post will be about the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Whenever Christmas comes around, people are focused on buying a Christmas tree and decorating the house for this season and what presents they're going to get for their kids that they miss out on the true meaning of Christmas. 19 years ago when I was just a child,, my main focus on Christmas was to make sure that I got a Barbie doll and other things that I would ask Santa for. Hey guys. So I normally blog about Jesus whenever I'm blogging but instead, this post will be all about my favorite person in this world named Renee Young. First of all, I met Renee my sophomore year of high school. She had just started teaching and out of nowhere I ended up being in her class which I think was God plan for us all along. Renee and her husband Mark ended up moving to Richmond, Virginia because Mark got a job over there as a student pastor. It's been 7 months, if I'm correct, since I've been missing both of them terribly. Renee is the kind of person who would get concern if she saw that you weren't having a great day because honestly most teachers wouldn't care how your day is going. She knows when to have fun and when to get serious. It totally broke my heart when she told me that she was moving. Me and Renee had a special bond that I didn't have with anyone else. Well, we're in the middle of the semester at the college where I attend which is Mississippi State University so things have been going crazy and everything and I just need to catch my breath. First of all, college wasn't exactly what I expected it to be. I remember telling my teacher Renee Young that I was so eager to get into college and leave high school because I had enough of it and couldn't wait to experience what God had in stored for me once I got into college. Now that I'm in college, it's been fun and a brand new experience and adventure for me but I never knew that there were going to be some challenges once I got in. Sometimes my friends would invite me to Young Life to hear the word of God on Monday night but I always turn them down by telling them that I had homework or a test and exam to study for. Okay guys, so it's been a long time since I've blogged because I've been so busy lately with graduation, choosing the eight college, and so many other things. Sometimes we forget to talk about the second coming of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Well brothers and sisters we shouldn't forget because he is coming soon and so we need to help each other to spread the gospel with the world  so that no one will be left behind on his second coming. Well I've did it!!! After all four years of high school, I'm finally graduating and heading off to College. The name of the college that I'll be attending is Mississippi State University. I've dreamed of this moment since my freshman year. When I first started high school (freshmen year) it was a really tough experience for me because I was new to town which means that it's normal to not have tons of friends yet. First of all, the reason why I came to Mississippi was because my dad got a job at Mississippi State University. He is a college professor who teaches French to College students. On the night of graduation I was so nervous to walk across that stage. There were millions and millions of people and classmates that had their eyes on me while I was walking on stage to get my diploma (which made me nervous) but eventually I did it and got my diploma. JESUS LOVES YOU!!! Do you ever sit on your couch or on your bed and question yourself why God would let something horrible happen to one of your loved ones or why he would let you sit on your bed and cry for many hours? Well guys it's Christmas! I know that all of you guys are excited about getting presents under the tree, making gingerbread houses, and being around your family and friends. Well brothers and sisters, Christmas is more than any of these things. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus and how he came to this earth to show us how to love one another and to die on the cross for our sins. Like for an example, the kids at my church decided to put up a Christmas play to demonstrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ and they did a good job at it. Seeing how these little children worked so hard to get the message out about baby Jesus just warmed my heart and made me feel good inside. Why do I love this beautiful friend of mine? As you all know it's a season of giving thanks and what I'm thankful for is my heavenly father, Jesus Christ. Jesus, thank you for dying for me when I was a sinner. Thank you for shedding your blood on the cross so that I can be healed. thank you for giving me second chances. Thank you for providing for me all the time. For providing me with a family, friends that I look up to as sisters, food to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But mostly Jesus, thank you for helping me with school throughout my 12 years at school. Having a personal relationship with your heavenly father is exactly what each one of us needs in our daily lives. I have a role model that I look up to and her name is Renee Young. When I first met Renee, I had no idea that she was a Christian. The first day that I found out that she was a christian was my Sophomore year. I had her as my science teacher and on that day we were taking a test that she had given us. Are you going through a difficult time right now like maybe you feel like god has forgotten about you or you don't feel like you're loved by your family or by god? Well guys, I want you to know that you can overcome all of these obstacles and the only way for you to overcome these obstacles is through god's help and mercy.  You may not know me but I'm a senior at Starkville high and being a senior is really fun but at the same time it stresses me out because I have to make sure that I'm taking all of the classes required for graduation and I have to take my ACT on October and December to get the highest score that I can get. But through all of this, I know that with God's help, I can overcome all of these  situations and finish the year strong.
