God's Love

JESUS LOVES YOU!!!

Do you ever sit on your couch or on your bed and question yourself why God would let something horrible happen to one of your loved ones or why he would let you sit on your bed and cry for many hours? Well brothers and sisters, God does love you and maybe the reason why he lets bad things happen is so that your faith towards him would increase and that your time with God would also increase.First of all, we serve a good God. God is not evil like ugly Satan. And yes. I did say ugly because he's my enemy. God is a good god because of these reasons:
  • he sent his only son to die in our place
  • he makes miracles happen
  • he takes cares of us day and night
  • he never forsaken us
AND MOST OF ALL, HE'S COMING BACK FOR YOU, ME, AND HIS PEOPLE SO WE CAN ALL LIVE IN HEAVEN!!
ISN'T THAT EXCITING!!! 

I know that sometimes it's hard to feel god presence around you but trust me he is there. For an example, I had a teacher who taught me English my junior year and  she was just an incredible teacher. I loved her so much. But in February of 2016, she left us to go be with Jesus. Ms. Ferguson had cancer and some people had no idea including me. When I heard the terrible news that she had passed away, it just caught me off guard. It made me sad to know that her daughter will never have a mom again until she goes to heaven, Ms. Ferg will never be able to see her grandchildren until they meet her in heaven, and she will never get to see her daughter in her wedding dress marching down in the aisle. But what made me realize was that god never promised us that we would live on earth forever but he did promise that all believers will get to see him again and this time it will be in heaven surrounded by his angels. I truly miss Ms. Ferguson but I'm hoping that I'll get to see her again whenever God calls me home. 

REMEMBER: You were created for a reason by the king Jesus and nothing can stop the strong love that he has for you.

What Does It Mean To Be a Christ Follower

To start of, I grew up in a Christian home and was raised by my parents who taught me to always put god first in my life because without him my life is meaningless. When I was a child my mom bought me a kids Bible with pictures on the other side of the page so that I can imagine what was happening through the pictures. The day that I truly understood what Christ did for me on the cross was the day that I truly surrendered my life to Christ because I wanted to be a part of his family and I wanted to live for him until the day that he calls me home. Being a Christ follower taught me to always put god first in my life no matter what because He's the only one who can save me and make all my problems go away. After I had finished my freshmen year of high school, I decided that I wanted to get baptized.
