Your Relationship With Christ

Do you have a strong relationship with your personal lord and savior? Do you pray every night and morning? Having a personal relationship with your heavenly father is exactly what each one of us needs in our daily lives. I have a role model that I look up to and her name is Renee Young. When I first met Renee, I had no idea that she was a Christian. The first day that I found out that she was a christian was my Sophomore year. I had her as my science teacher and on that day we were taking a test that she had given us. She played music in the background while we were taking our test and even though the music had no lyrics, I just knew that it was a christian song and that she was part of the Christian family with our heavenly father. The lord has blessed her so much with a husband (Mark) and a baby boy (Ezra) that is on his way. She has really inspired me with her faith towards Christ. Not only do I look at her as a teacher, but I look up to her as a big sister, friend, great role model, and someone I can personally trust. When God created us, it was not a mistake. God wasn't like "okay, I need to find a way to destroy her so i can make her more like the others". NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!! God created you on purpose because he has a plan for you. Sometimes i look at other people who can drive, has big houses, get good grades at school, has tons of friends and I'm like, "God, please give me exactly what they have". Well you know what, I'm wrong. I shouldn't think that way because the bible (which is God's words), say that whatever we don't have on earth we will have in heaven. so think about it, if you live in a small house, have less money, can't afford a job, or you're homeless. Well brothers and sisters, let me tell you,  your life is COMPLETELY is going to change when you get to heaven because there will be no more tears, pain, or darkness. Just love, happiness, and joy for ETERNAL life. Many of you who know that this is my senior year and that means next year I'll be in college. Well, my parents are like "Rebecca, you need to be where we are so that we can take care of you. you need someone to drive you to places like to the doctor if you get sick and to Wal-Mart to buy you some groceries." Well you know what, I have two parents not only one. Jesus can also take care of me. I mean after all he's the one that formed me in my mother's wound. So if my earthly parents aren't here to take care of me, I have a heavenly father who can. He protects me at night and in the morning, he gives me food to eat, he provides me with teachers to help me be prepare for the real world. So those of you with divorced parents, parents who are no longer living, you are not alone because JESUS is right beside you, you just can't see him.
Have a relationship with your father because he's waiting for you with big arms open wide to you! Remember that he can come at any time! Are you ready???
