The Road to College

Well I've did it!!! After all four years of high school, I'm finally graduating and heading off to College. The name of the college that I'll be attending is Mississippi State University. I've dreamed of this moment since my freshman year. When I first started high school (freshmen year) it was a really tough experience for me because I was new to town which means that it's normal to not have tons of friends yet. First of all, the reason why I came to Mississippi was because my dad got a job at Mississippi State University. He is a college professor who teaches French to College students. On the night of graduation I was so nervous to walk across that stage. There were millions and millions of people and classmates that had their eyes on me while I was walking on stage to get my diploma (which made me nervous) but eventually I did it and got my diploma. But guys if it weren't for Jesus and the love that he has for me I wouldn't have made it this far. When I was sitting in my cap and gown I was really proud of myself for making it this far and finally getting to go too college and grateful that god stood by my side through the hard times that I was going through. College can bring lots of stress into your life and possibly draw you further away from God but I won't let that happen because Christ is so much better than this world has to offer to me. College will be a whole new adventure for me because I'll have to be responsible for things that I need and keeping up with my grades but through JESUS CHRIST, nothing is impossible.
I love you all brothers and sisters and I'm really hoping that this post would meake you realize that COLLEGE is a whole new adventre with many challenges that the devil will use to try to destroy you, but your faith towards Christ is going to bring peace and freedom into your life.

What Does It Mean To Be a Christ Follower

To start of, I grew up in a Christian home and was raised by my parents who taught me to always put god first in my life because without him my life is meaningless. When I was a child my mom bought me a kids Bible with pictures on the other side of the page so that I can imagine what was happening through the pictures. The day that I truly understood what Christ did for me on the cross was the day that I truly surrendered my life to Christ because I wanted to be a part of his family and I wanted to live for him until the day that he calls me home.
