Sometimes we forget to talk about the second coming of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Well brothers and sisters we shouldn't forget because he is coming soon and so we need to help each other to spread the gospel with the world  so that no one will be left behind on his second coming. The book of revelation talks about the way that Jesus will come back, how he'll judge people, how the beast, (Satan) will arise and torture the people that will be left behind, and things that the saints  (people)  will experience once we get to heaven.  When we hear about all the things that will take place at the end of times we get so scared but to tell you the truth, if you know that you will not  end up in he'll and you've been doing good deeds to glorify God's name , then brothers and sisters don't worry about helll at all because that's not where good and faithful Christians end up. Well I've did it!!! After all four years of high school, I'm finally graduating and heading off to College. The name of the college that I'll be attending is Mississippi State University. I've dreamed of this moment since my freshman year. When I first started high school (freshmen year) it was a really tough experience for me because I was new to town which means that it's normal to not have tons of friends yet. First of all, the reason why I came to Mississippi was because my dad got a job at Mississippi State University. He is a college professor who teaches French to College students. On the night of graduation I was so nervous to walk across that stage. There were millions and millions of people and classmates that had their eyes on me while I was walking on stage to get my diploma (which made me nervous) but eventually I did it and got my diploma. Well guys it's Christmas! I know that all of you guys are excited about getting presents under the tree, making gingerbread houses, and being around your family and friends. Well brothers and sisters, Christmas is more than any of these things. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus and how he came to this earth to show us how to love one another and to die on the cross for our sins. Like for an example, the kids at my church decided to put up a Christmas play to demonstrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ and they did a good job at it. Seeing how these little children worked so hard to get the message out about baby Jesus just warmed my heart and made me feel good inside. Why do I love this beautiful friend of mine? As you all know it's a season of giving thanks and what I'm thankful for is my heavenly father, Jesus Christ. Jesus, thank you for dying for me when I was a sinner. Thank you for shedding your blood on the cross so that I can be healed. thank you for giving me second chances. Thank you for providing for me all the time. For providing me with a family, friends that I look up to as sisters, food to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But mostly Jesus, thank you for helping me with school throughout my 12 years at school. Having a personal relationship with your heavenly father is exactly what each one of us needs in our daily lives. I have a role model that I look up to and her name is Renee Young. When I first met Renee, I had no idea that she was a Christian. The first day that I found out that she was a christian was my Sophomore year. I had her as my science teacher and on that day we were taking a test that she had given us. She played music in the background while we were taking our test and even though the music had no lyrics, I just knew that it was a christian song and that she was part of the Christian family with our heavenly father. Are you going through a difficult time right now like maybe you feel like god has forgotten about you or you don't feel like you're loved by your family or by god? Well guys, I want you to know that you can overcome all of these obstacles and the only way for you to overcome these obstacles is through god's help and mercy.  You may not know me but I'm a senior at Starkville high and being a senior is really fun but at the same time it stresses me out because I have to make sure that I'm taking all of the classes required for graduation and I have to take my ACT on October and December to get the highest score that I can get. You probably know what I'm going to be talking about in this blog due to my title so I hope that what I'm about to write will sink to your heart and that god will talk to you through this blog. Now, I know that each one of you that is reading this blog have sinned several times including me because first of all, god did not makes us perfect because if we were perfect and had no sins in our life, then god would not have send his only son Jesus Christ to die in this world for us. Hey guys, I have decided to fast from July 20 through the 24th of 2015. I made this decision on my own because in the bible it states that if you want God to heal you of any diseases in your body or if you want deliverance, then fasting would be the best way to ask god for things because when you're fasting, it means that you're showing god that you believe that he's capable of answering all of your prayers . Next week while I'm fasting, I'm going to have to eat certain foods and drink certain drinks. I know that some of you will be thinking like "girl, what do you want to do to your body"? or, "are you out of your mind women"? But remember this, I'm fasting for a whole week because in my heart I want god to pour down his precious blood on me, the same blood that was shed on the cross for my sins.     On Friday July 11, me, my parents, and my brother went to a church in Maryland and let me just say that this church was extremely incredible because almost all of the people that attended this church were from Africa and they played some African songs that worshipped god. Whenever I entered the church, people were dancing all around while they singing and whenever you looked in their face, you could see all the joy and the love that they had towards god their father. whenever the pastor preached you could see people receiving the holy ghost and some of them were receiving miracles from god. What the pastor preached totally moved me because he was preaching about how Satan is always out there to destroy us and to ruin our lives, but when Jesus is involved, Satan has no power to ruin our lives or destroy us. Have you ever been in a situation where you don't know what to do and then you suddenly loose hope and you tell yourself that there is no way that you can get out of this situation and then you even question yourself if God is even real? If you have then let me tell you that through all the struggles that you went through or had to face, God was right there right beside you and he never left your side, not even once. We need to always trust god even when things don't seem to go the way we planned it would. Some of you may know Renee Young or even had her as a teacher. Let me just start by saying that she is the coolest person I have ever known. I remember whenever I first had her as a science teacher my sophomore year, she was so kind to me. That year was her first year teaching at Starkville High.
