A Relationship With a Non-Christian

Have you ever been in a relationship with a non-Christian who doesn't know Christ? Well, I have. I grew up in a Christian home with two Christian parents but other than that, my extended family such as my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and even cousins are all Muslims which makes it easier to talk to them about Jesus. I remember the day that my aunt from my dad side came to live with us in our house since she was visiting us. Now, if you didn't know this, Muslims tend to pray three times a day. My aunt would pray early in the morning, (and I mean very early like 4 in the morning) at noon, and in the afternoon. one day I decided to sit down with my aunt and talk to her about the consequences of not following Christ. She felt like I was judging her harshly but I was just speaking from the truth. The Bible does say that whoever doesn't follow Christ will perish in Hell for eternal life and will have no contact whatsoever with their loved ones who made it to heaven. I'm just

Doing Sophmore Year with Jesus

Doing College With Jesus (Sophmore Year) eeOh what a semester:) I haven't been able to blog recently because of college and school work but now that the semester is over I can go back to sharing my heart with you guys and how God has been working in my life. Today I took my last final exam as a sophomore and I'm so ready to see what junior year will be like and of course Jesus will be a part of it because I want that everything that I say and do glorifies my heavenly father. In addition, this semester came with loosing a friend that I used to have but more importantly gaining new friends that makes me happy knowing I can be myself around them. Ok so if you're a college student you know how difficult and stressful it is trying to make sure that you pass all of your classes and maintain a certain GPA that is required in order to pass the class and avoiding being placed on suspension in results of your low GPA. Well during this semester God has showed me what it means to re

What If Your Blessings Come Through Tears

Hi sweet people:) As you all may already know I am a college student at Mississippi State University so I haven't had the time to blog but today I am so glad that I do  because I want to share with you guys today what God has been doing in my life lately. As you may see the title for this post is called, "What if Your Blessing Comes Through Tears" and I got this title from one of my favorite songs that I like to listen to. In this life that we're living we tend to go through some hard times that we tend to question God love towards us his own children. Some of the questions that we tend to ask him is, "why can't you may all of the pain go away"? "Why are you letting me suffer like this if you truly love me"? These questions are one of the most hardest things that we want God to answer but I know that if something happens it's because God wants to show us something to open our eyes clearly or he just wants to test our faith towards him. Hi Friends, Do you ever wonder why Jesus just forgives you from your sin when you ask for forgiveness? Or why does He constantly loves you when you continue to sin accidently and not on purpose? It's because He truly loves you so much. On a personal level, I feel like my relationship with God is weak and that breaks my heart. My personal life shouldn't come first before Christ because God doesn't put me last from his work but He looks out for me everyday. Do you remember how when you were young and your parents constantly encouraged you to pray at night when you go to bed and pray in the morning before heading off for school? Well, those were my parents as well and it helped me so much because now I am a college sophomore and I still pray at night and in the morning. Think about it, if we choose to abandoned Christ just because we're college students or that we'[re mothers and fathers it breaks god heart because He paid the price for you on the cross for you to hav

Sweet Baby Jesus Sleeping in a Manor

IT'S CHRISTMAS!! Christmas is definitely one of my favorite holiday of the year because I get to put up the Christmas tree with my family and then afterwards I sit on the couch with my brothers watching Christmas movies. Well, that's what me and my family did during the holiday season but as I grew up and gained some more knowledge I realized that Christmas was more than that. Do you guys remember the story from the bible of how Mary (a virgin woman) became pregnant with Jesus in her belly because of GOD and how GOD asked Joseph to be with Mary while she was carrying the lord of lords and king of kings? Well I remember that story very well because that story totally changed everything. While Mary was pregnant with Jesus there came a time that she was  ready to give birth but they didn't have a place where Mary can give birth so they went to each houses begging if Mary could give birth in their place but all of them rejected them. After everyone rejected them they had no

A Christmas Post

Don't Forget Jesus Christmas is a special time To reflect on Jesus Christ, The wonder of His lowly birth Brings meaning to our lives There really is no other reason, We celebrate this day, The birth of God's precious son And the life, He willingly gave But so much seems to distract us In the busyness of our lives, We lose our focus in all the happenings, Not knowing, we leave out Christ We lose sight of the true meaning As we endlessly rush about, Trying to find that perfect gift, Seems to cloud our Saviour out We need to stop and reflect awhile, Remembering our precious Lord, His birth, His life and sacrifice And all that He stands for For though the world may celebrate, It seems, though, for other reasons, Let's keep in mind that Jesus Christ Is the true meaning of the season. What Does It Mean To Be a Christ Follower

To start of, I grew up in a Christian home and was raised by my parents who taught me to always put god first in my life because without him my life is meaningless. When I was a child my mom bought me a kids Bible with pictures on the other side of the page so that I can imagine what was happening through the pictures. The day that I truly understood what Christ did for me on the cross was the day that I truly surrendered my life to Christ because I wanted to be a part of his family and I wanted to live for him until the day that he calls me home. Being a Christ follower taught me to always put god first in my life no matter what because He's the only one who can save me and make all my problems go away. After I had finished my freshmen year of high school, I decided that I wanted to get baptized. Getting baptized was my decision because when my pastor announced it to the church I decided that I wanted to sign up to get baptized. Before getting baptized, my pastor approached me and
